My 76 yo mum has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC. it all started 8 weeks ago and following numerous tests and apts she finally managed to start chemo last Friday !! She is day 4 post chemo and is feeling tired and nauseas so is staying in bed. How long can we expect this to last? Happy to hear about other people’s experience.
Hi Debbie847 sorry to hear about mums diagnoses. Nausea and tiredness is to be expected with chemotherapy, but everyone reacts differently. Has she been given some anti sickness tablets? It is really important she takes these even if she isn’t being sick, they will help with the nausea feeling. X
