As most of you know i was getting my self stressed about my six month check up after a lobectomy ,I was expecting to have a scan ,but it turned out to be an x-ray ,so after being awake most of the night worrying ,and getting to the hospital at 8.30 am ,i was sent straight away for an x.ray ,as it is at the other wing of the hospital it is a long walk and up 3 flights of stairs,so i had the x.ray ,then walked back to the other wing which took longer than the x.ray ,i saw my surgeon within 15 minutes ,and she said that everything on the x.ray looked good and she had no concerns ,she asked if i had any chest infections if i had trouble breathing ,or if i had noticed any difference in my breathing which my reply to all was no ,she looked surprised but said it was a good sign ,she then listened to my lungs ,which took about 5 minutes and she said that my lungs were clear and she had no concerns there either .So i do not see her again till August ,i have an appointment with my consultant at the end of March ,but as my surgeon has no concerns ,then i am hoping that it will all be ok when i see him also .So i just thought i would update everyone C.K
