I have just read your profile, you have done a good job.
You have been through a lot in 3 years. I can understand how you feel 2nd time around, as I felt very much like that myself. The first time I was diagnosed, I had a hysterectomy and no further treatment was needed. I was nearly 5 years cancer free when it came back in my lungs, and I was denial for a very long time that there was anything wrong.
Thank you, that is kind of you to say. I have mentioned before on the group, how I felt I went through a stage of acceptance after my diagnoses. At first I felt so guilty, that I was hurting the people I loved the most by putting them through this awful ordeal. I then went through a stage of mourning for my old life. That life had gone, and I had to grieve for all that I was missing in my life, and what I would miss out of in the future. And then at last came acceptance. Once I realised I could live a normal life whilst on treatment and living with incurable cancer, life became easier. It is a different life than the life I had before, but it is still a good life. xx
