Hi, my grandma is not eating and when she does it makes her sick. Does anyone have any idea if there are any drinks or something else we can give her?
We have been told palliative care but Macmillan nurses are not onboard yet, waiting for the letter to the GP hopefully won’t take too long but we are wondering if there is anything we can give her in the interim?
Hi if you speak to Grandmas GP she can get some protein shakes on prescription xx
I am encouraging my mum to drink Huel (liquid meals) although I would not recommend it as the only meal, more as a supplement on top of Fortimel Forte. Whilst nutritious, Huel leans towards a low fat, weight loss diet. But it is better than eating nothing at all, I feel.
