EBUS side effects

I’m sorry to hear that love , I had my EBUS under conscious sedation … yes I was croaky immediately afterwards but it passed . The following couple of days I had a sore throat and a productive wheezy cough too which took a few days to settle …I had no chest pain at all …..  I would honestly telephone 111 to check out your symptoms with them , they may send you down to get an X-ray make sure all is ok ….. Sorry to read about your ebus experience, I actually had 2 prior to my eventual surgery, both under sedation and neither left any effects to speak of.

I think you should seek "proper" advice.

Hi M i had my EBUS under sedation awke throughout and had no issues at all  i guess i was lucky, but i also  had a portacath fitted under local anesthetic so we are all different.

Hi Elly, seems like it was a chest infection. Doctors has no prescribed stronger painkiller and antibiotics. They seem to be doing the job and making things better. I’m now able to eat too which of course makes a big difference. Just a tough few days but only better from here x 

Hi Dave, thank you for your kind words. Doctor thinks I’ve got a chest infection hence all the symptoms, antibiotics seem to be doing the trick.

You sound incredibly brave Darren, I don’t think I’d have the guts to do that under local only because you’d be able to see what’s going on.
