My mother (80+) has been diagnosed as having Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma after having fluid drained from her lung which had cancer markers in it. She is going to be treated with Alectinib tablets. No mention of surgery. Has anyone had experience of taking Alectinib?
she has to have her chest drained every three days and I have been trained to to use the Rocket Medical Chest Drain kit at home.
Hi Aedh Wishes, I am sorry to hear about your mums diagnoses. I haven’t any experience myself of Alectinib, but I have seen other people in the group talk of this, so hopefully someone will be along soon to share their experience with you soon. In the meantime I have popped a link to some information below for you, which you may find useful.
