Been to the consultant today and he has said the tumor has shrunk by at least 50%, and he couldnt be more pleased with the way things are going so now just got to get that insurance sorted and Tenerife here we come

My other half is due to see consultant next Friday for results of his first 3 month scan. Hope his results are as good as yours. I am so very pleased for you. Great news.

Thanks for all the good wishes. We had a lovely, if different, week in Tenerife. Plenty of walking and relaxation. Hubby was pleased as he said it proved he could do it. We were very careful with wearing masks whenever we went inside anywhere. Insurance was expensive at £1250 for the week but only a couple of companies would even offer cover I think due to still having treatment.

Forgot to mention that the one thing we have noticed is that his eyes have become sensitive to the light and at times red, watery and puffy. Does anyone else have this issue and, if so, any ideas on how to improve the situation. Thanks

Bubs I’m glad to see you had a lovely holiday. Sorry to see the cost of insurance though, I think you are right this was probably due to the current treatment, but I’m sure it was worth it to have that week together xx
