Just quoted £98 for 8 nights, Portugal, October for self, prostate stage 3 + heart meds and wife, asthma. So not too bad, I think.

Just got a quote from Saga for £1226 for one week in Tenerife!!

Have you tried allclear insurance £700 for 14 days in Greece. SAGA quoted nearly £2000 

I tried all of them. Allclear was coming out at £1800 and Saga was the cheapest at £1250. Other companies wouldnt/couldnt even provide a price. Must be to do with the type of cancer and treatment that hubby is having

Strange how insurance companies work. £700 14 days in Greece with allclear. Saga quoted £2000 but at the end of the questions they refused to cover me. I've got SCLC incurable but on Osimertinib tablet take one every day cancer is stable tumer had shrunk. Insurance companies on onto a money maker. A right con

Hiya Hetty, I've been on Osimertinib since August 2021 had my 1st scan 3 months after and my tumer had shrunk from 24 to 16 and all is still stable up to now. Side affects not to bad you have to give your body time to get used to the tablet  and they will settle down thats if you get any. I wish you all the best and stay positive and live life to the full
