Hi all, my wife has terminal lung cancer and I was looking for those in the same boat to chat to, thanks
Hi there, my wife is in palliative care with probably less than a year to live. She had her lung op November 2020, so we have been going through all this for some time.
I wish you and your wife all the best, keep going mate x
Hi , my wife was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer called EGRF mutation, it is an incurable cancer, I believe it is terminal but I’m to afraid to ask that question, she is 50 and we have a son and daughter in their early 20’s who don’t quite understand how serious her condition is.
all I do is worry all day every day. I feel I should talk to my kids but the wife doesn’t want to worry them, they both study at different University’s and we see them when we can.
the knowledge that the life I know and the life I thought I was going to have is coming to end is something I am finding very hard to deal with.
sorry for the rant.
Hi mate, sorry to hear that about your wife. It's tough coming to terms with all those things, I am having counselling through the hospice which has really helped me, also finding a good distraction is useful.
Not being able to talk or ask questions just leaves you feeling angry,
take care
Thankyou you are so kind keep fighting my friend !
Life's a Bitch are the only words to compare my friend. But we hope God Spares someone along the way keep fighting !
