Eventually got some results back yesterday from CT scan done 2nd October. Good and bad news. Main tumour looks like it has grown but they can't tell for sure as the markers are not clear. One on lymph node in other lung has shrunk from 12mm to 5mm, and no sign of spread.
Now got to wait another week till they have their multi disciplinary meeting to find out if they will keep me on Pembro or whether they change it to Docetaxel. Dont know how to feel, I know I should take the positives from this but all I can hear is tumour in left lung has grown..
Hi Debs,
It’s understandable you have mixed emotions about this. We all want definitive answers so we can move on to the next step, clear in our minds of how our bodies are reacting to treatment. But for now try & focus on the 2 positives!
Keep as busy as you can until the MDT- I think that’s the worst bit waiting for news.
Fingers crossed for you that all is going to plan.
Best wishes to you

Hi
Well it is very good news regarding lymph node. As for main tumour they don't know for sure that it has grown; best to wait for the outcome of the md meeting. I know it is very hard not to worry or feel anxious but do try to focus on the positives and take things one day at a time. If worrying made things better, this site would be empty!
When you next see or speak with your Consultant, if a change of treatment is put forward make sure that you explore all the available options with him/her e.g radiotherapy etc.
Take care of yourself.
