My partner with stage 4 lung cancer has just received a letter extending shielding for another 12 weeks until the end of August from her consultant

OH just finished chemo/immunotherapy combo and about to start immunotherapy only tomorrow, and restart our lives - however much time we have
If he has to Shield another 2 months on top I think we'd go crazy
Of you are on a limited life expectancy, to spend 50% or more of that time Shielding seems really cruel.
Totally understand its for the best but just So So Hard at this time. Gone thru all the treatment without a hug from any family or friends
