This is Dereks daughter Julie.
Dad passed away at home on 19th of this month.
I wanted to let you know that this forum gave him great comfort in the past few years and it was a place where he could speak honestly when he felt that he couldn't at home.
Dad is being cremated on 9th May but we are going to hold a memorial for family and friends once this madness is all over.
Take care.

I am so sorry to the sad news about Darlo.
What a lovely kind and supportive man - one of the first to reply to me and encouraged me and so many of us.
God bless him - and you all. Xx cathy

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I classed him as a very dear friend. We always talked privately and I enjoyed every minute we spoke. A true Gentleman. I will miss talking to him. He always gave me great encouragement. Truly sorry.
Good bye my friend. God take care of you.
