I ordered face masks for my family..I'm not setting foot out this door if they not here by 6th of next month..(oncologist appointment)..but it was reported if they reccomend we use face masks we take away from the NHS..but my husband said, they wont be wanting black masks with pigs snout and tongue sticking out..so I'm feeling less guilty..also grandson has a Jurassic park scene..I pray for us all..stay strong..xx
Maggie is it a routine Oncology appointment. They are doing those over the phone, so might be worth checking if you have to go in.
Its for an xray..so I suppose I'll need to go..its scary because I thought Jim and me were for the great blue yonder..so Ill..I'm going for a mask for sure..hope your well hinny..take care..xx
Hi Maggie, Sounds as if you and Jim have had a tough time , hope you are now on the mend take care when you go out, it will be 6 weeks tomorrow that we have been in isolation , not stepped outside the garden, should have had my 6 months check up last month but have not had an appointment , TC Ellen xx
Hey Maggie
There you are. Glad you managed to get back on and post....
It is good to hear your and husband are both on the mend now.
Face masks sound interesting.
Personally, I was made to wear one the other day for an X-ray and I hated it. I found it actually encouraged me to touch my face a lot more than usual so I prefer not to wear it. I like to wear gloves, but they are saying not too, well I will, they say they are spreading germs, not in my eyes, they are stopping me picking up the germs. I leave the house washing hands, when I go to get to a cash machine/shop put the gloves on, go home take them off and wash hands again.
I hope your X-Ray goes well and smoothly and crossed fingers for good results.
I had to go the other week for an MRI and my brother's girlfriend, said not realising, if I needed something I should ask.... I had to explain they physically needed my body so I had to go bless her for trying to be thoughtful though... would have had some questions to answer, if I sent her in my place however
Was hinny..we feel like we invincible now, but bet oncology puts feet back on the ground..but once again letter to say cancelled..I hope that the corona virus fought the cancer and won..so I'll be fine..haha better not feel like that because of the horrendous procedures you peeps have gone through, I know cancer is sneaky and strong..once again I pray for us all..stay strong and safe..xx
