Hi all

I know there is a lot of worry over the new C bomb being dropped all over the place. This thread is being set up to keep that word off this particular thread to help people that are possibly in self isolation.

So I think we should kick it off we should post our favourite place or places to visit. We may be restricted on where we can travel, but we can go anywhere in people's pictures Slight smile

I will leave it open till end of Friday then pass the batton on to someone else to open a new post on this thread, first suggestion first served, something of interest to them. If nothing posted by 10am Saturday, I will re put my thinking cap back on.

So I guess I should post a picture or two to start it off.

Here you go Julie, I meant to say to you all that it was on this week. They went to this restaurant. They are doing Guernsey tomorrow.

Chelle what are these 70's you speak of? Stuck out tongue

  • Yep, that’s where I had lunch Grin

  • Oh I am going to see if I can get that on catch up. Although it might make me feel sad as we were coming to Jersey this summer, to see my great grandparents house at Ouens bay. Maybe next year.

  • I still believe sounds good, I might give that a go. I like films that are based on true stories. Walk the line is one of my favourite films and that is on my list to watch. Apparently we are having a carry on film day tomorrow.

Awww Chelle, I could have finally met you too.... we have tried a couple of times in the past. Maybe one day.

    Love true stories too.

My others, but all a bit sad are:

    Philadelphia

    The life of David Gale

    American History X

    Me before you

    Brighter films:

Bernard and the Genie (more Xmas time though)

Buddy's song (very cheesy but a guilty pleasure)

Fright Night (again cheesy but still makes me chuckle)

    Friday

I was hoping to catch Last Christmas, but I couldn't be bothered to go to the cinema alone and only released it on Prime ages after Xmas and for a high price too despite being a subscriber.

Yes Ray, prices for everything over here are very high.... never sure why people think it's a 'tax haven' and that we are all rich. Try living here, the costs makes you broke.

So I was lethargic yesterday so I went to bed and put on the five feet apart and it was a very good poignant film.

I may try another recommendation later.

    Thank you

  • Gina have you seen one chance? Starring James Corden playing Paul Potts. One of my favourite films.
