Hi all
i have a 2cm lesion on my lung, and a 3cm lesion on my L4 disc.
The lesion on my spine is giving me pain in my lower back and right leg.
i am currently taking paracetamol, ibuprofen, galbupentine and oxycodone.
Would they now give me steroids to ease the pain and get my lifestyle back?
What are other people on?
Thanks
Adrian
I wouldn't have thought they would offer you steroids. They to do not help with this type of pain. Or are you thinking to give you some energy back?
Usually steroids, as far as I am aware are used for when people have brain metastasise to control the inflammation and relieve neurological affects. So no, from what they have found at the moment, I doubt you would be offered them.
Once you have started treatment, this should hopefully reduce and control the pain you are feeling and that way you should feel better and get things back on track.
