Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Good luck for tomorrow Derek, hope the lunch is nice
thank you all. may need cut that tablet down to half, carnt stop working.
So pleased they are working. I'm sure we could keep you busy between us.
I'm in Jersey, that view has to be our lovely Jersey beaches
The food really is good! I have asked if i can take the Chef home with me. Waiting to see tomorrows menu, might convince me to stay untill Friday at this rate.
Hope the scan went well cmtd, I always find the thought of it is worse than when it happens.
Good to hear you’re enjoying the food, so now that they’ve sorted your stomach how are they doing with the pain
My appetite is definitely back. I keep picking meals and then a side order of chips or mash potatoes they probably think I'm mad. Still a little nauseau. Trying the anti sickness again tonight but either way it's barely there and I can eat.
Well when she found the lump she said a quick blast of radiotherapy might sort it.. But i explained I've already had my lifetime does of radiotherapy to my right chest (I think). I've added in ibuprofen and she has written me up for oxycodine for break through pain. So we will see.
Ahh the joys of being 18, beer rules Darlo.
One of my favourite films is on tonight on channel 5 at half 10. It's called me before you. It's a sad but also uplifting and moving story. Incase anyone is planning to a later night and wanted something to watch.
Julie, I do hope you had a great night with your old work colleagues
I did thanks Gina, they knew we were there - 9 very loud women
Ive heard people mention that film so I’m going to settle down and watch it, however, I might miss the start cos at the moment it looks as though the football is going into extra time Liverpool V Chelsea
Oh Chelle - thank you do much for remembering.
I had to refuse to have it done ! Got to the hospital took one look at the MRI machine and ran......... well not quite but burst into tears and wished ide taken someone with me. Felt and feel like a real whimp.
They have gave me another date the 23rd - ,next Friday. Have suggested i get some sedatives from my gp.
After surgery and chemotherapy you think you can do anything!
