Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.

A very simple solution for weeds is a kettle of boiling water. Just think what happens to cabbage when you cook it. Obviously you have to be careful but as you are "grown ups" you'll know that! You do have to do it several times particularly with very tenacious weeds, but even with weedkiller they do come back. Another very simple weedkiller is common salt. I have recently got myself a weed burner, very satisfying to use! But nothing is a truly permanent solution except maybe agricultural strength Roundup and that has severe restrictions on its purchase.
Hi Artimisa
oh how I like the sound of the weed burner but better not, but I just might give the boiling water a go, I did see a couple of little blighters have arrived already and I only tackled them on Saturday!
It’s this weather Julie, everything is growing like crazy. Has anyone seen the episode of friends when Monica goes on holiday to Hawaii and her hair ends up like a wild birds nest because of the humidity.....yes that’s me.
we got 32 forecast for tomorrow. to much for me. treatment 10.30 am hope its before heat wave
Too hot for me Derek. Hope your treatment goes ok tomorrow. X
Hi Gina, happy birthday for yesterday and hope you have recovered from the hangover. If it is as hot there as here you are probably in the shade. I love the heat but not the humidity.

thats number 20 gone for my treatment. atezolizumab, of over half way. was easy today. only 2 nurses seeing to about 15 of us poor lasses never had a moment.
Glad it went well today and hopefully you dodged the heat, it’s a shame for the nurses they just have to double up the workload for holiday cover or sickness don’t they.
Well done Derek, another one ticked off. Is it every 3 weeks that you have your treatment? They seem to come round very quickly. I’ve got to have my Zoledex injection tomorrow. 1st time at new surgery so feeling a little apprehensive.
