Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Hi Dance in the rain,
More good news - really good to hear, really pleased for you
Well done Karen and dance in the rain, great to hear that stable Mabel is doing the rounds.
Hi Julie,
I was intending to have a weekend away in a couple of weeks, and am still unsure what to do with the Covid - 19 being around.
Hoping to get away to the coast if we can at the end of April, I m trying to concentrate on getting my bathroom done up at the minute to keep me busy., and of course there's the excitement of the footie too.
Darlo I hope you get sorted soon with your results and treatment can continue for you.
wishing everyone positive thoughts
take care all
Karen xxxx
Hi Nel, I hope this infection has cleared and you can get back on track with the treatment.
Hi Darlo, hope you get some answers about the camera. You definitely need to get on to them. I am cheering you on from the side line.
Hope you make progress and get it going. Sometimes you need to push eh?
Hello all
Darlo, Julie et al - I am glad the football is going the way you want it.
Karen - Lovely to hear that you are stable in two areas. Crossed fingers for a definitive plan for the lesions. It's good to have a treatment brake and to replenish yourself a bit. I agree with the covid being troublesome. We had our first confirmed case yesterday in the Channel Islands (but in Guernsey, not Jersey) I am sure it won't be long for us now. With trying to plan to return to work it is making me second guess if it is a good idea. Don't worry I bought lots of toilet roll in early February so I am way ahead of most
Hopefully by the end of April we will be much more informed about how far and wide it will reach and how can make more thoroughly thought out decisions.
Oh I like the bathroom project too. Lovely to have a refresh and makes you feel better.
Darlo - You definitely need to puff up that chest and start demanding some answers! I hope they can get it sorted for you asap. Nice to hear you sounding a little better now too.
Dance in the rain - fantastic news for you. Such a relief when we get the all important results in and they are good news. Enjoy and treat yourself.
Nel - Crossed fingers the infection is gone and your treatment goes ahead as planned.
Glad you are getting the hang of the chat now. Maybe I can delegate you to teach Maggie just maggie.... I have tried numerous times and it seems failed
I am nearly at the end of my chore list and will have to think of other things....
Next I need to compose an email to work to set out exactly what my return to work entails. Then finish sewing up the tank top. Then cook and freeze some meals and that's about it.
Weather is still wet and windy, I was hoping to meet some people in town throughout this week which I have not seen in ages, but not appealing to go out and get soaked or blown away.
I did go and see the physio yesterday and he is helping with my muscle knots of my shoulder. Plan to go again by the end of the week. So I am definitely getting out and a bout a bit more which is good.
