Hello All

I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.

I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?

I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up Disappointed usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up Disappointed He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.

    Hi all

chemo went as well as can be expected this week and the steroids have definitely kicked in yesterday and this morning. Hoping I can rest tomorrow and Monday so I'm able to enjoy my Christmas dinner.

Gina, sorry to here you are back at the hospice , on the upside you get fed and watered and waited on . hope the chef is good looking too .

I haven't heard from Varmint yet either so will try pm today and will let you know if I hear back.

Darlo and Justme , ready for game this afternoon. I used to go to all the home games but now live across the Pennines in Yorkshire so a bit far to travel every other week.

Wishing you all a very merry and well Christmas

    Karen xxxx

  • Hope you have a lovely Christmas Karen, and get to eat all your sprouts.

hi kacirh. Liverpool manager not happy over game. says if  flamingo       win they will be celebrated in south america. if Liverpool win rest of Europe not interested. team not been giving time to play.  THE CLUB WORLD CUP.

'Flamengo got sent here from their country with a clear order: To win it, and come back as heroes,' deadpanned Klopp. 'We got told: Stay at home and play in the Carabao Cup.'

  • That's reason I was against brexit.was the only way we Newcastle supporters could be in Europe huh...our new sign ups in January seem to be marks and Spencer? House of Fraser..etc.thanks Scrooge..or mike Ashley as others know him..xx

    Hi everyone

Sorry for being incommunicado so long..

Hope all is well (as can be expected anyway!) Healing well from surgery, chest drain hole is almost healed too! Chased up what was going on with lung nurse as I hadn't heard a peep for weeks, next day I'm called to visit oncologist consultant! Should be starting adjuvant chemotherapy in new year, 4 cycles of vinorelbine and cisplatin over 12 weeks. Going back to work next week (only have half a day to do until new year) and then will have to see how chemo goes.

Take care all and any advice dealing with chemo will be gratefully received xxx
