Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
lovely photo glad you have been able to meet up/
What was in it though? . sometimes t turns into toddy..xx
Lovely to see you both managed to meet up. Looks like Julie's dog wants to give you a slobbery kiss their too Chelle
Twelve months ago to the date a very frightened and nervous young lady turned up at clinic for her first immunotherapy treatment, today they came to my house and I’ve just had number 18. My next treatment in 3 weeks time will be done in clinic because from that day we are getting double the dose but only every six weeks instead of every three, the first double dose being done in clinic just to make sure everything goes ok, all of the above obviously all depends on my scan results with the oncologist next Tuesday - fingers crossed
Hope you are all well
Well done Julie, you’ve come a long way in those 12 months. I have everything crossed for you for Tuesday.
so cool julie regards the 6 weeks .would suit me. had to cancel my doctor appointment as before scan so waiting for new one in november.
Hi Darlo,
Apparently it’s to do with latest licensing information from NHS England, an update to the licensed dose and dosing interval, the first 7 cycles have to be 3 weekly (which I have well done) then it can go to 6 weekly
found this, just been approved by EU for 6 week slots. {If approved by the European Commission, a 400 mg dose of Keytruda every six weeks will provide both physicians and patients with greater flexibility in their treatment plans.”}
All sounds good - good luck for Tuesday julie xxxc
