Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up 
usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Father Christmas is real ! I asked for a hedgehog tea cosy and that’s exactly what I got 
I also got a puppy. His name is Bailey and he’s a Golden retriever. He’s living with a family who will train him to help a blind person, then he will go and live with them. I will get regular updates and photos of him, so I’ve got a puppy without all the mess that comes with it.
I hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday. Our day was dampened by the thought of my little sister being in hospital. She got taken in on Christmas Eve with neutropenia sepsis. There has been no improvement with her blood count over the last couple of days, so they are looking at doing a blood transfusion today. Listening to others who have had this, I know she will start to feel better once she’s had this done.

Aww lovely Hedgehog, I bet your tea is kept nice and warm now. Puppy sounds lovely and such a nice gift for somebody.
You are very right about Santa, I didn't even tell him what I would like but he knew. I got some lovely footsies for my always cold feet and even better they do not have rubber soles like my slippers so I do not get tangled in fleece blanket. He also realised my bag was falling to bits and I was forever on the doorstep rooting through as everything kept falling in to the lining, so I got a new one of those too and an Xmas cake all to myself... that will make the dietician happy 
I am sorry to hear about your sister Chelle, but you are absolutely right that she will feel dramatically better once the transfusions start. Usually when I am half way through the second bag I start picking up and feeling stronger.
