Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Thank you so much Darlo.
I am concerned about this treatment - staying indoors for 6 weeks wld be difficult and just when I'm starting to feel a bit better!
Appreciate your feedback - hope all good for you.
Xxcathy
1st treatment done and dusted already Darlo. I will join you I had my first cycle of chemotherapy on the 5th too. It was ok, not great but as you know how it goes. I will go two days ahead for the second cycle as I am too much of a wimp to self inject, they are doing it so they will not need to do it on a Sunday going forward.
I was aiming for the 1000 post on this thread but you got it Darlo
woo wee 1000 posts. carnt be bad. glad your doing ok. chemo was so kind to me, i had no issues. kept cancer away for 12 months.this immunapherapy is fantastic to me.
1000 posts since April - that’s some yacking we’ve done Good job we’re not all in one room
Nice to hear from you Gina, don’t blame you going early for your treatment, there’s no way I could inject myself, no use saying I would if I had to I just couldn’t. Hope your chemo is kind to you, hope you’ve got a nice weekend lined up - enjoy
It feels like we have been on the M6 nearly all day, but nearly at a very special friends house.......
Well having this disease takes us on some journeys, mine today took me up the M6 to meet a very special lady that has become a dear friend, someone who’s path I would not of crossed if it wasn’t for this group. Me and Julie Justme19
Lovely photo and you s both look very well and happy xx
Oh How lovely for you both -
