My Dad 64 has just been told he has lung cancer, both lungs are affected and its incurable.
It's adenocarcinoma in both lungs and its in his lymph nodes, both of the bottom half of his lungs are full of fluid, he's on oxygen 24/7 and has lost a lot of weight. I'm very worried about him.
Anyone experienced this that could help me understand all of this any better. I am driving myself a little crazy looking for information online.
Hello, I'm very sorry to hear about your father, but you have come to the right place for information and help. I am still in the recovery stage of adenocarcinoma of the left lung....but not as extensive as your father's illness. I'm sure there will be other people on here who have or are having the same experience as your father and who are only too willing to support you with advice and information.
Very best wishes.
Ann
Thank you Ann, it's such a worrying and confusing time, it's hard to make sense of what's going on around when you don't really understand it all.
Best wishes to you Ann
