Hi all

First of all just wanted to say a big thank you to all that have posted on here and those that have replied - it's been a great help and a great resource ...

I've been diagnosed with T4 N3 M1b Adenosquamous lung cancer ("predominantly adenocarcinoma with some squamous features" according to the biopsy) and am due to see the oncologist next week to discuss possible treatments. I have a very high PD-L1 count (100%) and am yet to receive results for any molecular markers....

There's not much information on this cancer type on any of the UK websites, but there seems to be a bit on the US websites, but I just wondered if anyone else has been diagnosed with this or whether it's rare diagnosis and what it might mean for possible treatment plans.

  • Hi Lujo hope you and your mum are well - saw on another post you’re  set with the treatment plan so hopefully that is one set of research and question over about the diagnosis and must in a weird way feel good to be getting on with treatment:) sending you both positive vibes on this sunny Easter weekend and hope ur both enjoying the sun :)

I start treatment on pembro next Wednesday so in a weird way looking forward to getting on with it. It looks like I’ll have it every 6 weeks and another CT scan next week to see if ‘things’ have grown since last scan and to get an accurate starting size for the tumours.

lots of positivity coming your way for the first treatments Blush

  • Hi Tallbee - hope you are ok! Thank you for you positive message. Hope you are enjoying this sunny weather too.  We are good thanks - we currently away enjoying a pre treatment holiday before next week. My mum has had her baseline CT scan last week but we don’t know the results yet. Her 1st treatment is Tuesday and then every 3 weeks for 4 cycles.
Wish you the same positivity for you next week too. You both have got this Muscle tone1 .
