Good evening ladies & gents

i hope your all aswell as you can be.
So my mums been given Radiotherapy, Chemo & possibly immuno too

First port of call is radiotherapy which she’s already been marked up for and given a start date
I was just wondering was it normal to start on Radiotherapy? Or does it not matter?

  • Hi, people have treatment in a whole combination of ways. Some have radiotherapy and chemo together, some have one before the other, some have chemo alongside immunotherapy and some only have immunotherapy.

I have had radiotherapy and I am now on hormone treatment. There is a possibility that I will have to have chemo one day, but immunotherapy is not an option for my cancer.

I hope your mum’s treatment goes well for her. X

How are you and your husband getting on? I’m not sure if I’ve read a post you’ve made your user name rings a bell though
Have they said which treatment he will be under going?

    ..x

  • We are waiting for an appointment to see the chemotherapy doctor to discuss which type of chemo he can have. As you know, it's the waiting that is the worst part of this process.

Seems to go slow doesn’t it my mum starts her treatment not next week the week after, she’s incurable but I’m just hoping and praying the radiotherapy helps her.. x

  • I'm so sorry to hear that.  Fingers crossed she gets positive results.  I know my husband's is inoperable as it's in his lymph nodes but i don't know what stage it is.... I guess I should ask that question ?

Sending your mum and you lots of positive thoughts
