My husband was due to get the results of his PET scan and EBUS on Thursday. The consultant has just rung to say that the samples from the chest lymph nodes have come back clear but that doesn't fit with the PET scan. So on Thursday he said he’ll talk us through the PET scan results and then examine my husband to see where else he can take a biopsy from. Can anyone throw any light on this please? ( there is a ‘mass’ in the right hilar) can anyone shed light on this please or had a similar experience?
