  • Hi

Welcome to the group, though real sorry you have had to join.  Early days and yes you are in shock, we have all been where you are.

Once you get all your results and a plan is put in place you will be in limbo, like we all where. Once we had our plan things seemed for me to settle a little.

When you have all the answers always some one here to answer any questions you may have and you  will have loads.

Please do not google as some sites way out of date, treatments have come a long way and always some thing else coming along.

Every one has been where you are and we know how you are feeling, use this site as you will have a load of questions to ask and every one supports each other and are very friendly.

    Ellie xx

So sorry you find yourself here, at the moment it will be a whirlwind of tests and meetings. Which can be alarming as you don't feel you are in control. Everyone on this site is here to listen, support and advice you. There is no query or question that will be dismissed. When I started this journey my world was upside down and its the guys and girls on this forum that kept me from thinking I was losing my sanity, they kept me safe and gave me hope. Please post anytime with any thoughts good or bad. Xx

Thank you  I agree it is a whirlwind of test after test but it is good to have the confirmation even if the news is not so good. I am feeling positive and have great hopes that the treatment will be a success. I am in my 80s so give thanks for the good life I have had so far. I hope to go on for a few years yet, who knows I may even get a telegram from the Monarch with a bit of luck Cheers
