On NYE I presented at hospital with gallbladder problems early doors. By the end of the day I was told it was secondary liver cancer with numerous mistakes across both lobes, 1 being 9cm. The primary cancer has not been I'd in a CT scan. BUT the ovary markers were slightly up in the bloods take. Medication given for pain but no further still waiting on a biopsy or yo hear anything further if that is the next step?  What should expect ....is there treatment to cure or extend?  Unable to return to my job in education just now as so raw and put of breath feeeling lost.Thank you in advance

  • So sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis. My cancer maybe different to yours but I do have lesions in the liver, secondary. My primary was diagnosed in the ovaries, and mine too was stage 4. I have had treatment... chemo, so which has expanded my time as for mine there is no cure.  but you will find out more once you have had a biopsy. Not sure where you live but my oncology team have been amazing and very supportive. Maybe difficult but don't look at the negatives, if you can concentrate on any positives this will really help. Make sure you share with family and friends as support is key.  Get as much rest as you need but daily walking is good if you can. Hope this is helpful. Take care
