hi everyone
I'm very worried right now, I had a massive operation on 10th April 2025 and within a week they realised I had secondary liver cancer which had previously gone unnoticed. My surgeon and oncologist wrote to Guilford cancer unit 5 weeks ago but Ive heard nothing from them, He is now saying that the letter may not have been sent... He's going to contact me next Tuesday with an update but the clocks ticking and I'm not sure what that means for me.Has anyone any advice or information that may help? Thank you EDH
Hi EDH
I am sorry to hear that you have had a diagnosis of secondary liver cancer after it was found during your surgery.
It must be hard to be waiting for so long to hear from the cancer unit to find out what happens next. Hopefully on Tuesday you will have a clearer idea of what your treatment plan could be.
In the meantime we do have the Support Line available from 8am-8pm if talking things through would help.
I will pop some links below with some info that you may find helpful to have a look at before Tuesday- so you can be ready with any questions etc.

Good Luck for Tuesday and I hope it brings some answers for you.
In the meantime, we are here if you need us.
