What treatment do you have

My chemo for my primary cancer ends in 3 cycles, mid Oct. We haven't discussed options as they are waiting to see how tumours react to chemo, so far they have shrunk.

I'm a bit in the dark on treatment options and will certainly be discussing at next oncology meeting, but having options or inside information would be useful.

I have small cell cancer so I know that makes a difference, I am.also becoming more hopeful that my primary tumour will be cleared having seen 'significant reduction' in my oesophagus tumour after 3 cycles.

I have no idea on my future currently and whilst I have faith in the medical team, I would like to know more.

Thanks

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

That's great to read that your tumours have been shrinking but it's natural to want to know what might happen next.

I don't have the experience you're looking for, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
