hi,
Dad is being moved onto Folfox from Gemcitabine as its not working well enough & the secondary in his liver is growing.
I’m a little confused about what Folfox is? I’ve seen 5fu & Folfirinox mentioned when I try to look up Folfox. Which is it? Can anyone tell me? Or is it none of these and stands alone?
Dad is on palliative treatment for pancreatic cancer and outwardly at least, he’s been doing well so this is a blow.
Just trying to work out what to expect from this new treatment.
Thankyou for reading

Hi
I haven't had Folfox but I've found this information for you on the Macmillan website which tells you all about it.
I hope this helps
