Hi everyone obviously wishing not to join this group .my mum has been diagnosed with liver cancer and its gone into a lymphoid she has been told she's going to have chemotherapy 6 months and needs immunotherapy but more upsetting as they have said she could have up to 5 years left and she might not get the immunotherapy because only 10 get picked out of 20 just saying these words makes me feel sick she's my rock my absolute world
Was wondering what everyone else has been diagnosed with and are any of you on immunotherapy we was thinking to go private but don't know how much it is
Hi Cnm
I noticed your post has gone unnoticed and wanted to let you know that others who have a greater experience in your Mum's condition will be along to chat with you, sometimes posts don't always appear as they should here.
My husband has liver as a secondary so it is different from your Mum, but he is on immunotherapy and that has been miracle in regards to the way he is dealing with his own condition.
Mum always has the option of a 2nd opinion, but please remember a prognosis is only a guideline, in many ways we have the power to extend that timeline.
Best of luck and strength to you both at this time
