Hi
I had an abdominal ultrasound on Monday and received a call from my GP that evening to say that there was a large mass on my liver. She has referred me to gastroenterology under the 2 week rule and requesting an urgent CT scan.
Shocked is an under estimate. Although I don't know it definately is cancer, the copy of the ultrasound findings suggests it is due to the irregular texture and vascularity. The wording states 'Highly suspicious of malignancy'
So I am now in limbo until its confirmed, obviously thinking the worst.
I am so scared. I watched my father die of cancer and it was the most horrific thing ever to experience in my life. I do not want my daughters experiencing the same.
Life sucks
