Went for scan after cameras for gastro issues. The scan found a tumour on my right kidney. I had what pathology said was Clear Cell Renal tumour removal 11 weeks ago. Then had wound infection which is still playing up. So I guess recovery delayed. Saw consultant at 7 weeks post op and said I was still experiencing pain ‘like a spear going front to back’. he said that’s normal. However some days it’s really painful front and back. How long does this go on:-( Walking for any length of time seems to aggravate it :-( Really fed and tearful is that normal?.
Follow up treatment is a scan at 12 months then bi yearly.
