Hi, new to all this. Like others here, I received a kidney cancer diagnosis after it being picked up in a CT scan for something else. It's a small one and I have discussed the treatments and now just playing the waiting game.
I have a holiday booked and trying to get insurance is a blinking nightmare. As I am awaiting surgery, the quotes are in their thousands!!! I have spent hours trying to get something reasonable. Anyone here got any suggestions? If my surgery date conflicts with the holiday, I will postpone the surgery. I have had a horrendous year (not going into why now)and definitely need this holiday!
Hi and welcome,
Have you tried InsuranceWith? They have provided me with decent priced insurance and are my go-to now. But they declined to cover my recent cycle tour so I went with LV (£50 for a week in EU) with the cancer excluded. Perhaps not for everyone, but I felt it was appropriate for me and my situation. I'm chuffed now I'm back, safe and sound. I feel like I've given these insurance companies two fingers for their money grabbing disproportionate rates for cancer!
