Hi All,
I am nearly half way through my treatment having had radiotherapy followed by immunotherapy (nivolumab) and cabozantinib and wondered if anyone on the site has gone through this?
My main side effects apart from fatigue have been stomach pain and dry mouth with painful tongue and loss of taste of most foods except sweet ones - a good excuse to consume some cakes!
Hello sunnyday49
I am Brian one of the Community Champions here at Macmillan. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer however by me replying it will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and I hope seen and replied to by other members of the Kidney group.
I wish you well with the second half of your treatment.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi - I suspect the replies are a bit thin because RT followed by immuno is not a common treatment! Please don't feel abandonned by the forum! Like many on here, I had nivolumab and ipilimumab immunotherapy. I had a dry mouth. Also a loss of taste and really went off some foods, when I had a bit of an adverse reaction to the ipi.
Everyone reacts differently to these drugs with different side effects.
