Hello - I’m new to this group. On 27/11/23, I was diagnosed with Kidney/Renal Cancer, as a CT Scan carried out to check for Bowel Cancer, had shown a lesion on my left kidney. Further CT Scans of the Renal area, showed that the lesion was in fact a small tumour! The tumour is thought to be relatively slow developing - as I’ve already had Systolic Heart Failure for some time, the condition was considered to be inoperable. Further scans (over time), will show how fast the tumour is growing & it is anticipated that the cancer symptoms will be treated if & when they occur.
Hi Tollowarn and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll both find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you've recently been diagnosed with kidney cancer and I know what a shock to the system being told you have cancer can be.
I'm sure you'll find the other members of this group willing to answer any questions you might have and also share their experiences with you.
Hello and welcome to our group. I expect that you will feel the same as the rest of us a bit shocked at your diagnosis I hope that you have managed to have a good Christmas. We are all at different stages but do have lots in common with each other, so do shout up if you are sre struggling.
