Post surgery

Hi Seven, I was lucky enough not to get any infections, the feeling emotional after the operation I think is really common, partially due to the anaesthetic and also you have been through a heck of a stressful thing.

It's early days in your recovery, rest when you need to, try and get a gentle walk in when you can

It does get better 

My wife could understand why I was getting so upset watching some movies, my emotions were all over the place. All these things are normal. Add details to your profile, then every time someone talks to you, you can see their journey too.

I was lucky not to have any infections but emotions were all over the place for a good few months after my op, it does gradually improve but our journeys are an emotional rollercoaster it seems.

I hope your infection clears up quickly

Yes! I would be talking to someone and have to stop as I felt I was about to start sobbing! Felt I was balancing on scales and could tip either way

Thankyou to all who responded that is exactly how i feel not even thinking about my cancer journey and feel like breaking down hacking me off as i don't show my emotions but they're really raw Thankyou all
