Hi all, not been on here for awhile but 5 years ago I had bowel cancer, we’ve got through that but now have a kidney tumour first spotted on a CT scan in Jan 21 but not reported on. Finally reported on in Oct 22 scan thank goodness. Radio frequency ablation Tuesday so back on another pathway.
Hi Algjones and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you've been diagnosed with a second, unrelated cancer but know how that feels as I was diagnosed with breast cancer this time last year, having been diagnosed with melanoma 6 years previously.
I don't know anything about radio frequency ablation, as that wasn't used for either of my cancers, but I hope it all goes smoothly on Tuesday.
I'm sure the other members of this group will pop on and help with any questions you might have or share their experiences with you.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
