Hello. Diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma a couple of weeks ago. Had appointment with maxillofacial surgeon Monday to review CT and MRI scans with expectation of surgery later this month. But, Seems there is a tumour on my my left native kidney (my native kidneys not working as I have had kidney transplant). Now my mouth surgery is postponed as apparently the kidney takes priority. Anyone else had this after a transplant?
Hi Barbara56
I don't have the experience you're looking for but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where hopefully it'll be seen by someone who does.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
