Hi there! I'm on immunotherapy (ipi/nivo). What were you on and what have you moved to? How's it going with the side effects, any? I'm advanced spread to the lungs but the drugs are doing their thing. Mad guess, but are you on a TKI now? eg sunitinib, axitinib?
Hi Mum, I was diagnosed 4 years ago with advanced kidney cancer which had spread to lung, liver. Gall bladder, ovaries..I was given ant cancer drug Pazopanib which did it’s job for 4 yrs. no longer working so now on Immunatherapy Nivolumab. I suppose I will have a CT scan soonish to find out is it’s working. I am with the Christie Hospital in Manchester, a wonderful hospital. But like another member of this group, I have found lifelong friends no longer contact me or offer to help. Can’t figure this out. I do not have a family and did I expect too much? But I never asked for anything? Anyway some of my ex work colleagues are in touch now which helps.....good luck and good wishes to all on this site.
