Hi all
well had my appointment on Tuesday with urology waste of time I have now been transferred to another hospital with a dialysis unit
i was diagnosed with a kidney tumour in February but because of other issues they couldn’t operate but I thought now that the issues have been sorted I would now be able to have my kidney removed and start dialysis but I now have to wait for the other hospital to get in touch before I can go on the waiting list
its now 4 months since my diagnosis and I feel that I am just back to square one I feel as though my life is on hold it’s not easy trying to stay positive when it’s been so long
I'm sorry to read that you feel like you're back to square one again I love portugal. It must be incredibly frustrating to keep being transferred between hospitals. Do you have a CNS (cancer nurse specialist), sometimes know as a key worker, assigned to you? If so could you speak to them about how you feel and to find out how long it will be before you should get treatment.
Sending a gentle (((hug)))
