Avelumab and axitinib therapy

Hi I’m new here husband has been newly diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. Treatment for both drugs Avelumab(immunotherapy) and axitinib combo starting this thursday. Just want to know if anyone on this group has the same treatment please. I’m hoping that it will work so he can have surgery. Thank you! 

  • I'm on same combination after having kidney removed 2020 later they found 4 cancerous lymph modes after just 6 cycles of treatment they are shrinking couldn't believe it was so emotional few side effects sore feet itchy legs and feel tired after treatment no matter about side effects please stick to the combination it works wish you all the very best and good luvk
