I had an open radical right kidney and partial bladder removal two weeks ago. I had my catheter out yesterday, yay. I have been advised not to cycle or swim for three months I am nervous about how much to move.
I have started gentle walking now the catheter is out. Any advice and support on how to get moving again would be great.
Thank you Totty
Hello
Once that catheter is out...yay!
Gentle walking is the way I went. Try and get a little further every day. Just remember not to lift and stretch too much.
I am almost 3 months post op and still on painkillers. The swelling has gone down, but still experiencing pain from the nerves/muscle healing inside.
