in a similar boat but a bit further down stream myself.  Had Sunitinib and Immunotherapy previously but now on 40mg Cabozantinib since October as my KC also spread to my liver. Had Right Nephrectomy in 2016.

struggling to get used to Cabo. had a break in November for high blood pressure and currently on another for severe abdominal pain.  No idea if it’s working until next CT scan but hope to get back on it soon as surely something is better than nothing, so long as they can get my pain under control.

Hope it goes well for you, the side effects are many and varied but there’s usually some treatment available if so.

Hi Dave thanks for your reply. I have been taking Cabo since July not had pains but am pretty tired a lot of the time.
hope you get back on the tablets soon.

Hi Gill,

back on but at a reduced dose of 80mg over 3 days. 2 on 1 off.  Early days yet but doing ok thanks.

I think I am just having a bad spell as been feeling really tired for a few days and lots of gurgling tummies!

I have been advised today by oncologist  I could have a break of   10 days or soon as I have a weeks holiday coming up.
