Hi just a little run down on myself.
IN 2014 I had a radical nephrectomy of my right kidney. All clear for me years 1month!! and then developed a solitary metastases on my chest wall and had a lumpectomy
After my last scan I was told it had spread to my pancreas and abdomen wall (all small lesions) thank goodness! I was started on suninitib but had to come off after only1 cycle due to an unbearable sore mouth that stopped me eating and as a result I lost a lot of weight.
Hi, I was diagnosed in September as having kidney cancer which has spread to the bones. I have been on cabozantinib for 4 months now and my last scan showed a small reduction in my kidney cancer and lung lesions. I have had side effects of tiredness, sickness and diarrhoea, but I find anything’s worth it if it keeps me here longer. When you are diagnosed as terminal anything is a bonus. Hope the cabozantinib works for you and the side effects are minimal.
Regards
Rose xx
