Feeling very hurt

Hi  and welcome to the Online Community. I am so sorry to read of your diagnosis and the fact you're facing this on your own. You would think that when someone tells their estranged family of their diagnosis it would be sufficient to mend bridges and moving forward provide emotional support at a time when you need it - sadly from what I've read on different forums this isn't always the case.

You have however joined a supportive group here so I'm sure the member's will be along soon to welcome and offer you a helping hand. I've tagged the Community Champ of this group buttercup01 so no doubt she'll be along soon to welcome you.

Hi Susiewoozy, read your post hope your feeling better back home with the cats ,so difficult getting the bad news I hope the family will reach out to you in this difficult time .I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in January thinking I had kidney stones 6 months later and one kidney removed back to pretty much normal .it will get better all the best Ry

I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis but also your family problems. Like you, I am estranged from my parents and my daughter. I reached out to my mother but got absolutely no response so I can fully empathize with your feelings of heartbreak. I hope they find it in their hearts to make contact with you so that they can support you through this difficult time.
