My local hospital says I've got kidney cancer. Went to Manchester ,they are going to do a biopsy. And they say theres is a chance it may not be .they caught it really early. So I just keep going through it all over and over in my head .oh they also say theres a tiny thing in my lung .who nose what that is .but I get up carry on as nothing is bothering me ,but not know what is going on I'm not sleep properly and from the little sleep I do get I'm waking with headaches .well theres the boring things about me .its not the 1st thing that has gone wrong for me
Hi Mark24682744
Welcome to the kidney cancer group.
Have you yet seen the oncologist or a cancer nurse specialist?
Either of these should b able to answer some of your questions.
Well done for joining the group,as lots of folk on here will b able to support you and hopefully answer your questions too.
Keep in touch. Once you have a treatment plan, things will seem a lot clearer..
Sue

Hi Mark,
I hope you had some news today.
My day was frustrating , medical appointment wise but on the plus side my hairdresser found time to cut my unruly today. If I went for op. on Thursday without hair cut I knee it would soon be a mess. I find holding a hairdryer up to it quite hard at the best of times.
Is your PTSD the tesult of being in the Services? Not prying just want you to know I have a family member affected.
If it is and you go on Facebook have a look for Veterans Outreach Services, or Leave no man behind. Both are busy groups with a lot of caring people in.
Keep us updated.

Hi I was in the forces but in the 80s .that didnt give it me .I fell 40ft through a factory roof because of the fall it was very noisy they say it was this that did it even the smell helped apparently. I am handling it alot better than I was .
Hi Mark ,
It might be worth calling your hospital and asking to speak to the urology specialist nurse. She will be aware of who you are as she will have been in the mdt meeting that you were discussed at. My specialist nurse , was very good and would chase appointments and results .
Good luck x
I agree
