Kidney cancer all clear

Have almost the same situation.

I have a 10cm Mass on my right kidney. It is completely contained in the kidney. Booked in for a radical nephrectomy on 5th June. Urologist thinks that I will not need any follow-up treatment after that.

Hi mine was the same size 10cm by 9cm. I had open surgery and have a 15cm scar and 4 smaller ones. Was in pain for s few weeks but 6 weeks in  only have the odd pain. Good luck with everything

I saw the comparison of mine size difference is shocking. Are they doing keyhole or open surgery.

They say they are doing keyhole. But on the CT scan it is looks massive, so wouldn't be surprised if they have to make the incision wider..

Mine was always going to be open surgery but I see the scat as my success at kicking cancer. I'll be thinking of you on the 5th hope it all goes well ️
