Well hello everyone
I hope everyone is doing OK
Anyone having trouble with brain fog ,people with colds and coughs ,ovoid or not
Daz
Hi Daz
I'm not struggling with brain fog after my chemo, thank goodness, but I would imagine it can be very debilitating. As for people with colds, coughs and covid - I basically avoid them! All my friends and family know that they must let me know if they are ill and I still wear a mask if I'm out and about.

Hi
Thanks for your reply
I avoid people with coughs and and colds, people think I'm being difficult but I'm just protecting myself
Somedays I'm OK and other days it's like trying to eat tomato soup with a fork

Hi Dan,
Sorry I have only just seen your post, I also have brain fog I also have trouble taking to people I know what I want to say, but cannot think of the words, my husband used to say don’t stop in mid sentence, but now he knows I cannot think of the words, I hope it is not causing you too much problems, also I still wear face masks when out shopping, my family and friends also tell me if they have colds or flu and keep well away from me, there know my immune system is bad so I don’t have any problems there.
we all have to keep safe as Covid-19 is still out there
Regards Sandy xx
Hi Daz,
I have big time brain fog and was concerned it was down to the fact that my cancer had spread to the lining of my brain but my oncologist told me people often suffer with “chemo brain” On the bright side, every day is Saturday as I can never remember what day it is!!
Morning
Thanks for reply, how are you doing today
My cancer is in my lungs and right kidney, the tiredness and brain fog is horrible ,but I'm naughty I forget who I'm talking to sometimes on purpose
My wife tells me off

Evening everyone
Just been diagnosed with epilepsy as well as cancer, could it get any worse
Daz
Oh I am so sorry to hear that. Different situation but my son was diagnosed when about 7 but now symptom-free (he's 21 now). They can frequently control it with medication - hope it's the same for you. <hug>
Hi Blind side 57,
Sorry about your diagnosis, I personally have not heard this before, but that is why this site is so good you might get some help from someone else, I bet you find this unbelievable it is enough to receive the cancer diagnosis and come to terms with that, now this let’s hope they sort some medication out for you that will help, try to keep your chin up and let us know how you get on Sandy xx
Afternoon everyone
